Book Review: "Twenty" By James Grippando

If you're looking for a fascinating thriller that will have you on the edge this is the one you need with Twenty by James Grippando.

The fact of the matter is school shootings are sadly becoming all too common and mass shootings also follow suit in our country and around the world. What's more appalling is the anti-Muslim sentiment that's attached once Zavier admits to a shooting he didn't commit. The gun was registered and came back to an Amir Khoury. Why? How?

This is an interesting twist on that idea of not only mass shootings at schools (combining both acts of violence) but in an usual way involving terrorist plots, suicide bombers, and much like what happened on 911 involving taking mass groups hostage while inciting terror upon those left behind for centuries to come.

I cannot imagine how this idea unfolded in the author's mind but while I read that some had it all figured out - I did not until the very end.

The characters were riveting, dynamic, and powerful especially with the young man accused of such a heinous act.

The shocker is the people behind the scenes such as Rasul her spouse, her son, and the arranged marriage that she wanted no part.

The 'virgin' discussion during marriage coupled with the fact it was pre-arranged really didn't sit well with me as a strong feminine.

As this story progresses we seen the ebb and flow of not only the legal process play out but the condemnation of society against the family and those behind the scenes that almost got away with murder.

Thankfully, it seems to work out but it was a bumpy road into the finale.
