Book Review: "Such A Quiet Place" By Megan Miranda

The Great Pretenders vs. The Masked Bandits!

Someone had to see something, is their a camera on, an email to be sent, some type of evidence near the water's edge? That creepy feeling that you're being watched, someone's lurking, someone knows what you did and is about to call you out on it.
A slow burn, a stunning secret, a moving motive and Megan Miranda throwing us into a mix of characters with numerous reasons to kill!

What could be better> Such a Quiet Place is in the middle of a private idyllic neighborhood in which it appears everyone watches out and over each other in this close knit group of college employed individuals was quite intriguing.

However, as the time passed the storyline twirled like a hurricane but never really left the ground.

Such a Quiet Place really was too quiet until you reached the garage scene, the beeping Co2, and the plot twists involving two of the neighbors became tedious but manageable.
The key is which two of the neighbors aren't willing to tell all and why was Ruby the only one seen as the culprit?

Was Ruby really guilty or innocent of the charges of murdering The Truett's (Brandon and Fiona)?

What is this new revealing evidence about the codes, the white car, the ...
Oh, wait- "Ruby, the liar. Ruby, the criminal. Ruby, the victim."
Ruby was released. Ruby is coming to see Harper. Harper was a roommate. Harper may know something.

"Keys couldn't keep you safe"
WTH?

Harper's receiving threats?

What is with this place: T- Tina? Truett?
B- Brock?
S-Seaver?
M-Monahan? -Margo? Mac?
C-Cora? Chase? Colby?
Do I have it all straight yet?....
Time is flying by and yet there's been a spotting of the white car down by the pit!
OMG!

There's files...
There's a code for entry....
There's got to be a way to open it all?...
What was the date of her release from prison? -6-28-19- will this work? The conviction overturned? But why?

Ruby was set free...but will she ever truly be free? Have you seen Ruby lately... Hollow's edge will never be the same!

The ending on this one was an open ended one which left me savoring and chomping at the bit for more flavor but a teaser is ok as long as the writing held up and left me wanting more.
I'm off to the races but I hope you guys enjoy the intrigue, suspense, mystery of this wonderful new work by Megan Miranda.
