Imagine a killer in plain sight? Imagine he escaped prison! Imagine he's not alone!
Talk about a scary start for FBI agent Craig Frasier and Psychologist Kieran Finnegan.
What more can one need on the to -do-list than a madman set to blow?!
How about several individuals any of which may be our 'Fireman' killer.
This is jam packed from start to finish with non stop heart pounding thrilling excitement.
If you love criminal investigations, legal maneuvers and strategies, criminal intent and modus operandi's gone wild you're at the right place.
A horrific murder scene(s) soon follow & all appear to be copycats of the Fireman.
What if there's more than one killer?
Could that even be possible or is this the work of the man himself?
The situation becomes quite personal, elusive, and difficult to nail down in all senses.
What if this 'chameleon' and 'psycho' comes after them?
Greed, deceit, threats start to circulate and more individuals turn up expired.
The hunt is on and it's a race against time.
Could this be an eye for an eye or more of a kill one to get another situation? Is this person really that mentally deranged?
Is collateral damage going to be the only end result?
The back and forth investigations, detective work, & constant surveillance added to the intensity of this dangerous situation.
Could the killer be framed?
Is there more to this story because money is the root of all evil and perhaps revenge, jealousy or the like may be in play?
People are often expendable to those deemed psychopaths who seek full control.
What I can note is the ending was out of nowhere like a sucker punch and threw me for a loop.
Could someone actually be assisting without even having knowledge of such actions?
WOW!
This encompasses sacrifices beyond measure while building upon a sick foundation of crime.
A bit of advice: Watch out for charmers!
In the end, fireworks will fly, people may even celebrate, and certainly the world moves on!
A great new read that I highly recommend.
Thank you to Heather Graham, Harlequin for this blog tour invite, Netgalley, and Kindle as it takes a team to keep me busy while seeking a full time paid position.
