Book Review: "The Arctic Fury" By Greer Macallister

“Women can do far more than the narrow lens of society deems fitting.”

It's worth noting this is hope born out of fear, out of darkness, beyond the comfort zone.
A masterpiece to behold with equal ends of the spectrum between adventure, risk taking, and legal analysis weighing in upon the final results.

A dozen women join a secret Arctic Expedition in which several don't make it out alive.
Lady Jane originally requested Virginia to take these 12 women, venture out into the unknown terrain, and find her husband Franklin's lost expedition (1845-46).

Sounds easy enough until Virginia finds herself on trial for murder. In fact, "one count of kidnapping and one count of murder" of Caprice Collins, fellow explorer.

Plenty of courtroom drama, meandering antics, and insightful yet riveting dialogue during these extraordinary times.

You might wonder:
What value do the women on this expedition bring and how will this expedition come to rest?
Only 5 survivors remain to publicly support Virginia in her crucial moments during the trial. Will they continue to have her back after it ends?

How will they walk away from it all and lead normal less dramatic lives?

This is truly the must read for that I hope you get a chance to devour.
