Book Review: "The Killer's Girl" By Helen Phifer

“Humans seemed to be good at blaming themselves whenever things went wrong, even if it had nothing to do with them”

― Helen Phifer, The Killer's Girl

Scary new thriller by Helen Phifer is on the menu and being served up to thriller fans everywhere!

YIKES!!

Talk about too close for comfort folks ...this brings everything into the picture including a murder with a connection to a female detective and so much more.

Could Morgan have killed someone?

Why did Gabby's killer contact Morgan?

What is up with the DNA and this so called person running around known simply as the 'Riverside Rapist' aka 'RR' for short?

Perhaps genetics are needed because Morgan's family may also be in dire jeopardy and the clock ticks and as we all know those who are viciously attacked/murdered often have a personal connection to their closest relationships.

After all the investigation originated with the body of a young woman, a mother, and a child that was left behind.

Now we have a situation in which the ending involves a family full of secrets, a mother found dead, and a daughter that perhaps a little too late -realized that a person entrusted with protection-abused the sacred vows he took for not only his job but his family's survival.

Now that man is serving time in prison with a family that perhaps could forgive one day but never forget as the blue line is a mighty force to reckon.

The Killer's Girl is a must read thriller.
