Book Review: "GreenLights" By Matthew McConaughey

Matthew McConaughey as defined by Wikipedia notes," is an American actor and producer." That's not true-fake news-he's a wonderful writer too!

Matthew McConaughey has made a believer out of me and I hope he will entice you all the same!

Green means GO-Unless you're from Scranton WB Pennsylvania - as here it means stare longer till the damn thing gets a darker shade and the folks behind lean on the horn to get your ass to move.

Surely, we're backwards here by roughly 20 years ergo why I needed this salvation from Matthew and Greenlights delivered the content in sparkling form.

So many stories resonated here from the college aspect of applying to an ivy league vs local or even community and acceptance for all but ivy to the insight in basic living. The family support, the engagements, the acting career, the travel, it's all so splendid and fascinating to read.

But it's not just living it's being active, engaged, and in love with life to the fullest.

We can go through the emotions but are you happy, satisfied, or merely content?

I ask this because this is a man who lost a ton of weight to play a role in a film of someone infected with Aids in Dallas Buyer's Club which those pictures just floored me in this book.

If you want it you must go for it and not worry if you falter because dusting off and learning after losing is part of the process.

He's been knocked down but damn straight he kept getting up -like many of us do-and perhaps it's not all luck based on what I've read here.

A straight shooter from Texas who went back to his roots will make you wonder why so many stay content within the bubble and don't venture out.

Go out of that comfort zone because there's a whole world waiting to welcome you in with open arms!

Love this!!!
