Book Review: "Sanctuary" by V.V. James

The star quarterback is dead and the fingers point to one person -a young woman-Harper Fenn is not only his ex girlfriend but she's the daughter of a witch?!

Ok, well I can't make it up and yet this novel by V.V. James is quite intriguing because it's a family affair in witchcraft especially with regards to her mother Sarah. Is this a like mother like daughter scenario? Would her daughter dig into the magical lure and entrap Daniel into death?

The plot twister was quite fanciful with plenty of juicy details to keep readers intrigued and flipping those pages.

“Sanctuary's the sort of place that's good at making you feel not good enough.”
― V.V. James, Sanctuary

True to its word it's a bloody mess after Daniel was killed as many throw out accusations with plenty of paranoia to lure the witch hunt into center stage.

From a mass hysteria to a mob mentality line of thinking this new work blends everything with precision and style.
