Book Review: How Trump Happened By Steven Schier

If you're seeking answers to the current state of the economy, the political chaos, the deeply divided nation, the polarization and partisanship than you've come to the right place.

I can tell you this having spent a number of years being married and now happily divorced from a malignant narcissist- they are full of empty promises, broken dreams, trails of destruction, and financial chaos to name just a few attributes to their personality trait disorders.

The lack of empathy, compassion, concern for others beyond self is apparent and will become more enhanced in the days to come.

Eventually, it will leave Americans to make a choice-Can we as a nation continue to make excuses in allowing this behavior, this corruption, this instability in our nation's highest office continue?

How long will we turn a blind eye to the truths placed in front of us and in many cases told to us from the horse's mouth?

When I was in this merry go round or hamster wheel their was plenty of fog, smoke, mirrors, and projection which made it nearly impossible to view fact from fiction.
As the situation progresses you see cracks in the facade, the operation from the false sense of self, the manipulation, the gaslighting, the mind games, the false hoods, the constant lies.

Ultimately, this book places those truths in the readers hands to make an informative choice.

Trust actions not words has been a good philosophy of mine and as a survivor of someone who had this disorder I can tell you another favorite- Even Fool's Gold Shines!
I remember when our journalists locally interviewed Trump upon his arrival at the Mohegan Sun Arena Wilkes Barre Twp Pennsylvania for his campaign. The video is no longer online but these journalist were salivating to just get a glimpse, they were childlike in their observation and commentary, it was literally like they witness their savior or leader upon them.

I found this video of his campaign from that day should you wish to

What they fail to discuss is what many have which is his demeanor, his disregard for the Constitution, the complete lack of fact checks and transparency. The inability to sustain workers, place highly educated and well versed staff, to have loyalty it's demanded!
The 'Your Fired' takes on a whole new ideal when you can't keep fulfill campaign promises, fulfill seat requirements, or maintain stability.

Discontent sows discord which creates anger and hostility and fuels despair leading to a wave of populism.

His 'celebrity status' was appealing, his brand was powerful in name alone, his image and likeness was captivating nearly 'God' like to many but what it boils down to is the Us v Them mentality.

Some people will do anything for two minutes of fame, for the constant spotlight, for the pedestal placement.

What's most important here is appearance, popularity, attention and this individual I shall only call DT will do anything for it even if it includes utilizing the most disgusting commentary on the planet.

Negative attention from the media is still attention and he uses all forms to his advantage and in fact it's what won him the election.

He didn't win the Popular Vote, but did win 3 0f 4 states that were decided by less than one percentage in my state of Pennsylvania, along with Michigan, New Hampshire, and Wisconsin.

This fandom coverage never focuses on the topic but on 'selling points' and if you ask a narcissist as I have with my very own former spouse they will tell you that you have to be able to 'sell' yourself.

I've written so much about DT that I could write a book but I would like to share this one link:

At this time all we can do is VOTE and PRAY!

This book focused on this and many more topics that are worthy of discussion regardless of what side of the aisle you are on because keep in mind DT was a Democrat at one time before the switch.

It's important to lay a foundation before making an educated choice in the next election.
Please vote!
