Book Review: "What Lies Between Us" By John Marrs

One can't let go while the other refuses to forgive! Truth is more dangerous than lies!

"Every other night, Maggie and Nina have dinner together. When they are finished, Nina helps Maggie back to her room in the attic, and into the heavy chain that keeps her there. Because Maggie has done things to Nina that can’t ever be forgiven, and now she is paying the price."

Can you imagine this shocker...Right?

Holding Maggie Captive is probably your last thought but seriously her mom killed someone close to them both.

Now she must pay the price but first we shall discuss perfect NINA whose seriously flawed.

Truth be told she was abused by someone close to the family in her teens which resulted in the unfathomable.

Sure, revenge might be on that list but catching a house on fire & using captivity with chains is barbaric and demonized actions.

There's an interesting plot twist between captive and captor that literally made me drop my jaw.

My word ...A must read!
