Book Review: The Wife Who Knew Too Much By Michele Campbell

It all reminds me of one thing: "Summer lovin' had me a blast [Sandy] Summer lovin' happened so fast [Danny] I met a girl crazy for me [Sandy] Met a boy cute as can be [Both] Summer days driftin' away, to uh-oh those summer nights.."

My word what the hell is going on with this group of on again off again romances..

It all starts with what was to be a summer fling with a country club pool gal and a stud until Mr. Handsome became Mr. Rich and now he's on the receiving end of gossip.

It turns out his wife Nina was controlling but also dead and a 'tell all' diary was found that notes a startling revelation and implication against him, “If I die unexpectedly, it was foul play, and Connor was behind it. Connor—and her.”

Oh SNAP! That her she's referencing is Tabitha and that lovely reconnection they had all these years later as she became a waitress and he happened to be seated by her.
Oh, memories ....My ex husband (whom at time we were married) had the same magical thing happen. He went to a nearby restaurant-stumbled or as he says 'blundered' into her- and the rest was 'serendipity.'

Or you can call it BS because he needed another person to play the role of mother to his three kids so he can have the cake and the cookies.

Ladies, don't ever fall for this line or the one in which he awoke in the middle of the night and carved your name into a bar of soap(hey, I was young, nieve, gullible to the hilt). Live and learn!

This reminds me of the time when the 'mistress' in my case was messing with several individuals and she said my husband on FB was her 'husband in waiting.' Your welcome to use this for your next plot as she had her 'legally married husband whom she had yet to divorce, my husband, and If i'm not mistaken another guy on the side.

I'm not sure how many people one needs but Lord knows I couldn't handle one malignant narcissistic ex husband let alone anything else.

With this noted we see a similar pattern play out here.
You know things happen when you lie down with dogs...and the oven has warmed.

Who knows what will happen next but safe to say somebody has to pay a hefty price.

It appears Nina's death was ruled a suicide but as more and more clues come out we start to wonder.

Also, whose this Juliet lady in the picture?

She's a personal assistant to Nina but she seems to know quite a bit about everything and everyone.

She may be worth a shot at finding answers to solve this mystery...

With all the behind the scenes action you will find that this is one scary and disturbing sequence of events and the deeper we go the darker and more elusive it all becomes.
Watch your back!

Remember motive is always in play and what motive would Tabitha have to kill Nina? What about Connor - could he be our guy?

Perhaps we shall look into jealousy, rage, anger, or money as brutal causes to do away with someone?
I don't know about you but this was quite extraordinary as we uncover the truth in a manner that's simply shocking.

WOW!

If only walls could talk, or can they?

A blast from the past is exactly what's needed and it arrives in epic fashion.

Loved this new thriller.

Thank you to Michele (always a pleasure to read her work), her pub, NetGalley along with Macmilan RIC for providing a hard cover too which was donated to the Osterhout Free Library.
