Book Review: "The Last Tourist" By Olen Steinhauer

Politics, espionage, spies galore, global action with characters that out due one another with lies and truth interwoven in the tapestry of the United Nations agency and beyond.

This one had me doing that head scratching issue because at times I was completely lost and had no idea what to believe anymore.

I wanted to fall in love with the thrills but on the other hand it seemed over my head and I'm not quite sure why that feel came upon me.

Narration switches had me on edge going from first to third almost simultaneously without a smooth carry over.
The high volume of characters with hidden agendas and the back and forth from past to present through me for a loop that I never fully recovered.

I hope you might enjoy as variety is the spice of life.
Milo most certainly had that James Bond -Kill or be Killed- feel and was on top of his game.
If you're a huge fan of espionage, spy thrillers, cat and mouse chess matches this is a must read for you.

Thank you to Olen, the pub, NetGalley, and Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
