While this was well written I just didn't feel like I was included in the ride here and unfortunately that's part of the game.
It's his first book in the Matt Drake series so there's a good note in terms of growth and I'd love to revisit this author in the future.
With this said, Matt was our main guy has survivor's guilt from past experiences and returns to face the music once again. Add to this the lack of strong female characters and the few that are present are painted out as power hungry or with a lesser connotation to their male counterparts.
It's a crazy madness that endangers everyone, with PTSD as the backdrop, yet it's an adrenaline rush with a sidekick named Frodo.
Always chasing the bad guys with military style precision and drama.
A great read for thriller fans everywhere!
