Book Review: "The Apartment" By KL Slater

When your dreams turn into nightmares....

Freya has so many problems-from her husband cheating, to his leaving, to his death and now this...She's about to lose her home.

Lucky for her Dr. Marsden is in need of a tenant at the 'Adder House.'
Sounds simple enough, Right?!

You know KL Slater isn't going to end there - Come on now!

Remember when you used to think (for those who were married) if only I could get him/her to follow orders, to do as told without complaint, to finish a project to completion?

Ok, maybe it's just me- but here me out- what if someone can be made or shall we say conditioned to do something-like Pavlov's experiment!

Well, folks this is one of those off the wall, hand me the keys you ain't driving in this mess- sort of books and it's superb.

I read many reviews and I have no darn clue what they were reading but for me this hit the spot like a good cup of cocoa.

Keep in mind this isn't just about Freya -oh no sir!- she has her daughter Skye (5yo) with her so it's a nutty situation made worse through the past experiments and even a discovery of a diary.

Oh, if the darn walls could just talk...

I don't rate books based on fluffy likeable characters as I could care less since it's about the writing, the plot, the way in which I enter and exit the book.
Will this book be memorable? Will you care after your finished?

You sure should and I for one loved it all.

The mix of psych, science, and plain old thrills with a madman scientist at the helm was just PERFECT!

Who knows what might happen but be careful because you never know when you might be in the 'camera's eye.'

I'm off for now- Till we meet again my friends! Keep reading!
