Book Review: "Family For Beginners" By Sarah Morgan

Pushing boundaries. Emotional Turmoils. New Beginnings. .

I loved it all as it was a glorious mess yet a beautiful tribute with a fascinating revelation of bonding.

Look family is not always blood.

Things happen. Lives change. Families are dynamic yet flawed.

We get that or we should but when you can paint a work like this and put it to writing it's a masterpiece.

Flora was a florist while Jack was that missing piece that created musical harmony for these two and those in their inner circle.

Yet, it wasn't rainbows and roses and in fact Izzy would have non of it after losing her mom the year prior.

What changed?

A vacation together. A time of reflection. A swimming adventure or lack thereof...

Sometimes it takes a crisis to reveal a blessing.

In this case, love was the connector piece.

The story behind Flora, her being orphaned, and her life moving ahead was an added element that was beautifully written.

What was truly moving was the connection between Flora and Jack's children and how this family was able to surrender to what was and embrace what has yet to come.

Thank you to Sarah, the pub, NetGalley for this eloquent new work from one of my favorites in exchange for this honest review.
