Book Review: "Dovetail" By Karen McQuestion

This is a book that was quite unique and extremely difficult to review as our main character is not in good health and her grandson is about to uncover a family past that is shocking.

The revolving time lines are also at play between 1916 and the latter year of the 80's with a well detailed plot.

Joe's dreams had left him troubled until he learns the connection between his grandmother's recessed memories and that of this man in a different place and time that replayed in his mind.

Joe is now convinced those memories are more about Pear's untimely death and the love she felt for the man she wanted to marry. The back and forth saga continues between two 'star crossed' couples.

Pearl sadly is dying from cancer so time is of the essence.

When the truth is revealed, we learn that there's more to this story than meets the eye.

Powerful, touching, heartfelt energy all around in this one!

Thank you to Karen, the pub, Netgalley, and all those who made this ARC possible in exchange for this honest review.
