Book Review: "Long Range" By CJ Box

If you want action, suspense, mystery, and that outdoor feel with it all going down you got it!

Look no further with CJ Box you have one heck of a thriller in your hands and no doubt it will keep you up chatting long after you place this one down on that coffee table.

I love his books (in case you haven't guessed) but this one has a special significance because it mixes two pleasures of mine and brings me back to simpler days working as a legal intern with the local county Public Defender's Office while also enjoying the 'Great Outdoors' -Manny Gordon gal here #ThornhurstPA.

For those not familiar with the reason I bring this up is because we have that same level of excitement and intrigue with criminals and criminal activity here but this time it's involving a sharp shooter, some Fish/Game Wardens, a Judge and his wife, and a prosecutor among others.

I mean seriously.. this will have you on edge.

The entire premise was fantastic! Because that sharp shooter by dumb luck missed his original target and struck the wife.

Now, we wonder whether it was someone well known in P.D. or legal field or even out in the wild..

The off shoots to this one with Missy and her situation with her husband and his illness added an extra appeal.

I'll just tell you that this is well written and superbly crafted with all the splendors to create the perfect escape to reality.

So do enjoy and try to keep calm but remember that in the end someone has to get caught and pay the ultimate price.

A great new read I was lucky to score first at my local library. #SupportLibraries
