Book Review: "Driving While Black" By Gretchen Sorin

The historical context alone should be the main reason to read this along with the injustices that have stemmed from ignorance and the need for a ruling class.

We must all learn to live as one, to help one another, and to get along regardless of any distinguishing characteristics.

The lessons learned in grade schools  don't do justice as we need insight and many today need instantaneous data and this accomplishes those goals in a clear and concise way.

I'm truly taken back by the pictures which spoke volumes without words ever being needed  in this well written and informative new novel by Gretchen Sorin.

It truly will make you wonder why reality must be kept hidden. Why we won't acknowledge these truths. Why we shy away from the very foundation upon which racism and prejudices continue to exist.

Until we acknowledge these actions we cannot move forward and I'm glad we are finally addressing many of these issues today.
