What more can one say other than sometimes people work so hard that they lose themselves in the process and begin to feel invisible, no longer a beacon of light, more of two ships passing in the night in all regards. Her beauty faded, her relationship sizzled, her children no longer need her help.
This is exactly what happened with our main character Rachel who begins to write about her experiences that trouble her. Those experiences surround the homeless, the unfortunate, the lost souls.
Perhaps that lost soul did something terrible! So, when hypnosis is offered she jumps at the chance. In fact, she keeps track of all the violent crimes and reports in her book. This books serves as a memory holder for her life's interests and includes interviews with her family and friends as well as the psychiatrist Amanda who interviews her.
Be careful what you wish for...
What if she did something nobody thought she could accomplish? Something so wild and off the wall nobody would suspect her?
The only thing I can say that hasn't been yet said : Good luck putting this one down. It's one HOT read!
Thank you to SE Lynes, the pub, NetGalley, and Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
