Book Review: "A Reasonable Doubt" By Phillip Margolin

This was one of those books that I almost had to cut ties and go separate ways after losing interest.

The beginning was rather daunting and tedious but with all good things you put in the time you get the results.

Midway it picked up and I began to feel the suspense increase with each passing train of thought.

The ultimate question posed was concerning the deaths surrounding a magical stage show known as the 'Chamber of Death.'

It's a world of mystery, intrigue, and suspense that captured the mind and perhaps an assistant or two.
Along the way the key players were eliminated but not before all holy hell went down and ramped up the bounty.

Who would've thought treasonous ways and the cruel old fashioned cyanide was still in play?

All I can say is you truly have to keep a close eye on every fine tooth detail that comes across because everything is suspicious and can lead to the capture of the culprit.

When more and more deaths pop up the focus narrows on just who had the position of authority or the avenues to clear security and go undetected to accomplish such a monumental task such as murder.

Could this be an act of rage, revenge, or jealousy?

Could a box of cyanide be the answer to it all?

Could various deaths be connected?

Will the case ever be solved?

I love the action involving Regina and Jane or was it Nancy?

Well, whatever, you get my drift?!

Just remember: A conviction of murder requires beyond a reasonable doubt!
Someone has killed these people and answers need to be uncovered and soon before more lives are lost.

In the end, one is cleared and one faces murder charges and it all comes full circle.
This was a fab read that I highly recommend.

Thank you to Phillip, the pub, and NetGalley for this amazing new read.
