Joan and John and Lauren and Travis were both such a treat.
The Christmas Table was a gift of love with wonderful connotations of love found within some recipes between mother and daughter, tucked neatly under it.
What happens in between was a story of profound loss but not before a story of romance and the making of memories entertained readers to the delight of the holiday(s).
The fact that everyone was dealing with specific issues and the fact that these couples would become intertwined was a lovely development.
When Lauren announces she's pregnant became the highlight of the story and the ending of this was something you'll never forget.
