A 'gotcha' moment based on a 'Hindu deiti' or shall we say in more plain terms a tattoo of a naked -4 arms- blue skinned- South Asian dancer.
Not going to go into specifics but this can be considered offensive to some and should be noted as this is the main plot and central to several of the main characters actions.
Including but not limited to the fact that Tristan's father wants him to marry sooner rather than later. His harsh father has sent his mother to an asylum and now Tristan is facing another chaotic adventure and sexual splendor with Lucie's younger cousin-Cecily.
It's no secret she's now jealous of Lucie's love and affection received from Tristan and goes to great lengths to build a wedge between them.
So much so that she creates her own drama in accusing him of cheating and getting her in a precarious situation.
The truth is in this tattoo and it's not without it's own set of craziness surrounding the accusations.
This wasn't really my thing as my genre is normally thrillers but I ventured out with not much gained on this one.
Overall a good read but not to my liking personally.
