Book Review: "Cold As Ice" By Allison Brennan

Fast paced. Well organized. Heart pounding thriller!

This is after all a work by Allison Brennan and in fact it's the 17th in the Lucy Kincaid series -so it's no secret- you know what to expect -and Allison brought it!

It begins with Lucy Kincaid sending to juvy a young girl who is hell bent on seeking revenge now that she's been released from this juvenile detention facility.

So, you must not only watch your back but that of your spouse because she's coming after Lucy's husband -Sean- with a vengeance.

Sean has just been accused of murder and Elise Hansen Hunt may be partially if not fully to blame.

So, how is it that Sean's brother-Kane- is now missing in Mexico?

What happened to Nate-her partner- arrested for cocaine possession?

Oh, and wait this just in--Lucy's friend Brad has been kidnapped outside DEA headquarters.

Could Elise be the mastermind behind all of this or her father?

Well, one thing is for certain -Mona's death needs justice!

Could Elise be wrapped up in something too big to get out of or worse could this be part of what's become known simply as 'Operation Payback'?

Oh, boy...I've got crazy vibes from this one as it's surely a spine tingler of epic proportions.

Thank you to Allison, the pub, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
