Book Review: "Louisiana Lucky" By Julie Pennell

Define your terms for winning?

Is winning a ton of money going to buy you happiness, love, family, relationships, and the things that matter most in life?

Careers are only good in so far as they make you happy and for these sisters they have more on their plates than simply love, romance, careers, and family as they are now Lotto winners too!

While it sounds like a dream come true it can also bring about a whole host of problems not the likes of which this group has never had to endure.

So, now it's truth seeking, love finding, deep down anxiety stricken, time to address reality and what comes with having money.

Do you need to overindulge?

I love what Julie Pennell has achieved in this new work with Louisiana Lucky.

The characters were likeable, relatable, and charming that stemmed from a loving family with parents married 30 years.

The plot thickens but just ever so slightly to not be overwhelming or overbearing and at no time did I ever lose interest in fact just the opposite -as I was totally invested from start to finish.

Everything about this was perfect!
