With multiple timelines and characters this was another slow paced read that kept me entertained as the police funding became a central issue during a time when several women had been found dead.
In all three cases (1952, 1972, and present times) we find the women in a party dress, with makeup, and no shoes. There's very little clues.
The police aren't sure if there's been a suicide or a murder or both.
What we do know is that there's a lot of inner dialogue that must be taken into account.
Plenty of issues that need to be investigated and addressed.
An interesting read but could've been edited slightly more to have more appeal.
Thank you to Julia, the pub, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
