Book Review: "The Siren and the Deep Blue Sea" By Kerrelyn Sparks

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned...except if you count a woman like Maeve with some unusual magical powers.

Now, Brody may be a dog but he's also a spy and has been investigating one of the five members of this elite group. A secret group of magic-users in the service of the cruel Circle of Five, and Maeve's mother (Sea Witch) who turned him into a curse.

Brody can only stay in human form two hours per day, while Maeve has scoffed at his dog form, but he's about to alter his appearance and it may come with a heavy price.

Of course, there's a catch. To win his freedom he must take on an awful yet terrible disguise.

BEWARE! Maeve is pissed!

Cohira is just the type of woman that,"hits 'em where it hurts" and she's not the most well like characters in this newest work and 2nd in the series of the Embraced by Magic from Kerrelyn Sparks.

She's no stranger to trouble as it seems to follow this "chameleon" but it may soon cost her.

Who is this Seer fella we keep discussing?

What is his importance to this family?

Can he help unlock the mysteries that surround them all?

Does any other member of Maeve's family have power?

It's a travelling by book journey to uncover the clues and the truths.

In addition, Gavin is a cat and you know what happens when cats and dogs mix....

Just sayin'

In the end it seems to wrap up nicely in perfect form.

Thank you to Bibliotheca for this e-read in exchange for this honest review.

I hope this review finds you well and I hope it inspires you to read this fab new work.
