Book Review: "A Song for the Dark Times" By Ian Rankin

Rebus and Siobhan are at it again in this tag team (male/female) detective piece.

This time it's to investigate a murder of a 23 yo Saudi student found in a carport of a carpet warehouse all while John Rebus's health declines with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Rebus also receives a call from his daughter that her partner has gone missing near Tongue.

He would do anything for his daughter Sammy and so he is determined to assist in bringing back Keith Grant. That's until he's located at an internment camp dead and Sammy's relationship with him was not quite kosher so she's now the prime suspect.

Unexpectedly there appears to be several odd connections between these two cases and it's now a time for Rebus to use his fatherly instincts as well as his crime fighting detective work to uncover and unravel it all.

A great crime thriller that has plenty of heated and intense action to the delight of its readers.

Thank you to Ian, the pub, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
