Short and sweet by Pope Francis in addressing not only the importance of women but one woman in particular the mother of Jesus -Maria- the central focus of the Catholic faith.I love how the Ave Maria prayer was discussed line by line in full detail about the meaning behind every word.
I enjoyed the connection to women of today, the complex nature of Mary in general, and the connection to today's intense culture.
The most important was the notion of Mary being an "Icon' and a role model for women seeking strength, faith, and hope in trying times.
I was completely wrapped up in this wonderfully written work.
