This third book in the series based on Sherlock Holmes daughter is perplexing at best and chilling beyond measure.It all begins in 1915 in London and ends with WWI in which the Germans have abducted one of Britains code breakers and the chase is on to find him as Joanna and Watson may be the only ones who can find him.
The Disappearance of Alistair Ainsworth is quite a unique read that will have you up pondering the book long after you've finished reading.
A must read for 2019!
