Book Review: "You Were There Too" By Colleen Oakley

When you think of love and romance what comes to your mind?

Is it perfection? Is it hard work? Is it flawed and imbalanced? 

What I enjoyed about this new work from the amazing Colleen Oakley is the unexpected outcomes throughout this story.

They say actions lead to consequences. Hell you make your bed you must lie in it and all that goodness yet for these characters they were strong till their last days.

Mia had it all with the perfect husband and life yet she wanted a child, a family, and a relationship about the what ifs.

What if her life was different than what she has now? Would she appreciate it more or less if she came close to losing it all?

What if is what readers wondered as they seen her heartbreak one right after the next in a sequence of built up revelations and secrets.

In the end perhaps she achieved the ultimate goal but at what price?
 
What is one willing to give up in order to get something else they are longing for?
OMG!

This was superb!

I'm truly honored to have been selected for this ARC! I hope everyone has a chance to read this 'must read' novel for 2019!
