Book Review: "The AOC Way" By Caroline Fredrickson

I think it's important to start with a clear cut reality check for all of society.

First and foremost here's a direct quote from AOC, " I've had mornings where I wake up and the 1st thing I do with my coffee is review photos of the men (it's always men) who want to kill me."

Now ask yourself why anyone with so much brilliance, ambition, empathy and compassion would seek a career in politics as a woman today?

It's because change is needed and we deserve change!

You cannot sit on the sideline and watch democracy falter at the hands of a few toxic individuals regardless of what side of the political aisle they can be located.

"Even for those who disagree with her views on specific issues, AOC's ability to shine a light on where Democrats have diverged from their values should be refreshing."

Or put quite eloquently via Teen Vogue," -Not letting the haters get you down but following your dream with a smile on your face."

Sure her dancing made attention but that's the point! She's fun! Invigorating! A shining beacon of hope!

"She is both chic and sharp intellectually, a smartie pants and a fashion plate."
She has not halted in forming her own opinion nor does she have plans to remain silent in the future.

This was the most uplifting, inspirational, intellectual piece I've read in quite some time.
"Be yourself, follow your dreams, and shake things up."

For our young girls we need someone like Alexandria leading the way to a brighter future for all.

We need someone not afraid to take a stance and stand up for her beliefs.

We need someone not afraid to fail and if she does do so gracefully.

She is a watchdog for all aisles keeping transparency alive and well and for that we must applaud her efforts.

She wasn't born with a silver spoon. She was a waitress after college working the grass roots campaigns and going door to door for votes.

This lovely young woman has always had my vote and not just because of the similarity in tenacity but in courage, in grace, in humility, and in character.

What a beautiful woman both inside and out.

The alpha males are a thing of the past.

The new wave is the strong and determined women in politics creating the change on the front line.

Those taking the shots and paving the way for future generations.

Women helping women will not only change the world it will be the change the world needs!
"Time is of the essence, she knows, for our nation and the world to deal with climate change, economic inequality, and corporate greed."

Collective action is the key for all women to fuel societal change not just self improvement.
It's about reshaping America from the bottom up!

In closing I leave you with this thought:

'Their hatred for Ocasio-Cortez, just like their pushback against #MeToo and the feminist movement, is a thin veil over what they really think, which is: How dare they. How dare women have the power to shape legislation? How dare they have the power to say no to sexual advances? How dare they hold men accountable? But they can't say those things, not out loud anyway-not without being taken to task. So, instead, conservatives mock. And diminish. and discredit.'

Love this amazing work by Caroline Fredrickson!

A must read for all!

Book Review: "The Body Language of Politics" By Donna Van Natten

'The most effective messages related to emotions and relationships are nonverbal ones.' Demir, 2011

With this said, there's an easy way to some everything up with one idea, "It's a man's world."

Women are making progress but we still have a long way to go in seeking equality without bias.

Injustices are the new norm against women and we must learn to not only support one another but to consistently stay united on the front.

Double blind is similar in nature to damned if you do or don't but in this case it refers to one trait that works for one gender but penalizes the other.

Often, we see in today's social media content that anger sells and anger rules.

The louder, the more obnoxious, the crueler we become as humans seeking instant gratification, the harder it becomes to go back to reality.

Sadly, we went from a calm and cool nature of discussion to screaming, finger pointing, abruptly turning and walking out within the camera's watchful eye.

The compare and contrast of acceptable behaviors and images was quite alarming. How one carries themselves, their demeanor, their sense of character, is constantly being judged.

Women who are assertive and strong are viewed in an unhealthy light as 'Biotches' whereas a man is seen as 'believable and credible.'

The old saying,' watch actions not words and never be fooled' applies here.

We are constantly being bombarded by subliminal messages and non verbal cues.

We have to be aware of the constant threats, intimidation, coercion, and intimidation while staying mindful to the knowledge that instantaneous news cycles are commonplace and not everything is factually based or informative but rather for branding and selling.

Attention seekers, narcissists, enablers should be lumped together in this toxicity as they are at the helm riding their followers blindly off the cliff.

Institutional racism is upon us. Bigotry and hatred has grown beyond all boundaries. Insecurities and triggers are more common than allergies.

Gender stereotypes are nothing new. Yet we have to believe in ourselves before believing and supporting others.

Who you vote for ultimately depends on your beliefs, your ideals, your attention to detail.
PAY ATTENTION as we live in a politically polarized nation!

Be informed and don't just go along to get along.

Be wise and vote with knowledge backed by facts!

As a malignant narcissist survivor I can tell you what happens when you don't pay attention to the warning flags.

If it doesn't feel right in your gut you must acknowledge it and don't simply write it off as a farse or excuse it away.

If nothing else our plates are full of information. Now we must decide who we want to represent all of us in our highest office of the land.

God Bless the USA!

Book Review: "Her Last Whisper" By Jennifer Chase

Nobody dies on Katie's watch! NOBODY!

When Amanda is found she looked like a mannequin, not the woman Katie vowed to protect.

Sadly, the pleas for help went unanswered just days earlier when no evidence could back up her statement of a kidnapping.

Well, that's nothing but the now infamous wrist marks that appear to have been made from being held in captivity.

This nurse was beloved by the entire community, but perhaps not by everyone.

Her Last Whisper was as chilling, dynamic, and heartbreaking as they come in epic thrillers.
If you want to a good read you've found it with Jennifer Chase's new work.

Thank you to Jennifer, the publisher, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.

Book Review: "I Dare You" By Sam Carrington

"AN INNOCENT GAME. A SHOCKING CRIME. A COMMUNITY FULL OF SECRETS."

Thirty years ago someone lied!

Plain and simple!

Now it's up to Anna to uncover the truth!

It appears open and shut but what if someone was 'lured' to the scene of the crime.
What if someone is being deceitful and hiding behind an alias?

It won't be easy as a man has been accused of the most horrific crime against a child.

Bill 'Creepy' Cawley was charged with kidnapping resulting in murder but is he guilty of the crime?

So many unanswered questions with these two time frames from'89 till now without a body.
Best hold on because this will blow you away!

Thank you to Sam, the publisher, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.

Book Review: "The Thorn Girl" By Laura Elliot

Chilling! Disturbing! Suspenseful Masterpiece!

"No one believed her. Until now!"

What a way to start one's day but In My Mother's Name aka The Thorn Girl was quite the ride.

We have the main characters Adele and her Marianne whom she never met.

As the story progresses at the perfect pace we uncover truths long since buried.

Perhaps her mother was telling the truth?

Perhaps there's much more to this story that never came out 25 yrs ago.

Seeking answers and bringing justice is all that Adele seeks!

Never has injustices swayed her anger such as this and she cannot let the culprit(s) get away.

Her mom may have died a horrible death but she's here to show that the truth shall set you free.

Spread those wings and fly!

Book Review: "Let It Snow" By Nancy Thayer

Can you imagine just starting your career and the Scrooge comes and raises your rent?!

Now why would anyone be so cold, so heartless, so inconsiderate especially during the most precious and blessed season?

Well folks, things move along rather quickly in this stunning plot when Christina the toy shop owner and renter bonds with Oscar's granddaughter - Wink!

Wink also introduces our distressed Nantucket owner to a whole new world in the form of her handsome bachelor uncle.

More than a few things heat up on the wharf and this time is the best time to 'Let It Snow.'

Thank you to Nancy, the publisher, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.

Book Review: "Moral Compass" By Danielle Steel

Riveting! Chilling! Intrigue with a sense of Danger lurking all around!

This and more can be expected in this amazing new work,"Moral Compass" by Danielle Steel.

It all begins with Saint Ambrose Prep an elite school for boys until now. Girls are just moving in their belongings and with it comes change.

Change in the sense that everything will be turned upside down and someone will be accused of the most unspeakable sexual crime.

Boys become men rather quickly in this heart pounding thriller that crosses every boundary without apologies.

The legalities was about the only slight I had with this one as I felt the punishment didn't fit the crime but I understand the notion that 'career criminals' was not going to serve anyone justly.

So with this said I hope you enjoy this beauty as much as I and please don't forget to leave a review.

Thank you to Danielle, the publisher, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.

Book Review: "Close To You" By Kerry Wilkinson

That moment when you get a blast from the past!

In this case it wasn't that long ago that David was alive and Morgan knows that the recent pic she seen can't be him.

Why you might ask is a question to ponder?

It turns out David is dead and Morgan killed him.

Now questions remain as to the exact reasoning as to why and the circumstances surrounding the location of the body.

As it turns out there's so much more than meets the eye.

Read this gem as it was quite interesting premise but the execution for me was lacking.

Thank you to Keery, the publisher, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.

Book Review: "Unfollow Me" By Charlotte Duckworth

Journalist turned blogger has found herself on the front line of 'You Tube' vlogger world with plenty of unanswered questions from her fans.

Where is Violet?

Did her husband play a role in her sudden disappearance?

Could it involve something more sinister?

How could a mom of three just magically fall off the face of the Earth?

Do you ever truly know someone?

Fans have questions and they seek answers in this epic story of lies, deceit, and betrayal of the ultimate magnitude.

This for me was better than the debut and was almost a four star but I wasn't a fan of the build up to the ending.

Thank you to Charlotte, the publisher, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.

Book Review: "The Rival" By Charlotte Duckworth

That moment when you come across a debut novel and can't wait to be acquainted with the writer through her words.

I'd say this being a thriller wasn't quite up to the level I normally read but it was good.

The main two gals being Helena and Ashley had there own quirks and flaws but where rather vibrant.

The problem I had was in the execution of the twists and the lack of chills and thrills.

For me I'm someone who loves that 'edge of your seat' read and this for me was close but not quite to that point.

I do hope you enjoy it as the career oriented feminine who won't stop till she gets the top spot was not new but it did resonate in the professional world.

When Helena realizes she's pregnant the story takes on a different feel and perception.

All in all a great read. I look forward to more to come by this author.

Book Review: "The Companions" By Katie M. Flynn

The plot sounded superb.

I was excited to start reading this science-fiction work by Katie M. Flynn.

However, the execution wasn't up to par for my taste and I was left with more questions than answers.

The theoretical idea was quite interesting with the dead coming back to life under various forms and entities.

Nevertheless, the entire scene with the virus taking over California to the quarantine and everything in between just didn't work for me and was too bland. The characters were too mundane with a weak plot that just didn't stir up the anticipation or excitement I had hoped.

To those who enjoy this type of fiction perhaps you'll find it more to your liking but for this thriller gal I need flavor.

Thank you to Katie M. Flynn for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.

Book Review: "Christmas In Harmony Harbor" By Debbie Mason

It's all about compromise and of course; LOVE!

This is the Christmas Spirit story of the year but first we must get through some turmoil.

After the storm there's always a rainbow or so we hope and this wonderful new addition is no different.

The only thing stop one another from enjoying each other's company is one another.
Evie and Caine the two most unlikely couples yet here they stand ready to take battle over property lines and emotions. Overcoming the past will be quite the journey.
Until something changes within both of them.

The ending was superb and well crafted leading readers to a world of fantasy that felt so darn real.

You need not read any prior work to enjoy this magical piece.

Thank you to Debbie, the publisher, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.

Book Review: "Problem Child" By Victoria Helen Stone

Plenty of talk these days about narcissists and sociopaths but what if it's biologically predetermined?

You must realize Jane is a sociopath with narcissistic tendencies and doesn't care a bit that her 16 yo niece Kayla is missing.

Why should she when the sun sets and revolves around Jane?

That's until Jane recognizes herself and that empty stare in Kayla's photo. "It's the empty stare of a sociopath."

Both individuals appear deeply troubled but will both of them come out of it before it's too late?

What if the only way you can help someone with this personality trait disorder is by putting yourself into their darkness?

Oh my word...

This was that good!

The entire saga with trying to find her, matching wits and tendencies, and the aftermath was truly worthy of an Oscar.

Thank you to Victoria Helen Stone, the publisher, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.

Book Review: "Don't Look Down" By Hilary Davidson

Great thrillers are hard to find and this is one beautiful gem!

I loved everything about this one including the initial 'set up' or shall we say 'blackmail' in which money changes hands but not before tragedy strikes!

Jo is quite a character with all due respect. She's had a hard knocks life in more ways than one. She and her sister found themselves in a situation that they were never able to win.

What follows is a trampling upon the truth, a masterful set of lies, a full array of betrayal, and murder!

In fact, Jo flees for her life when her blackmailer meets an untimely death and her blood was found at the scene.

But wait, there's more!

The evidence is mounting as a video also surfaces with surprising information. That information will be the crutch that never seems to go away.

A hint of her past that she can no longer hide.

A family feud of sorts that has been mounting ever since her sister died.
Her sister Lori is not innocent and Jo may not be either...

Wow! What a revelation!

Conspiracy to murder?

Or wrong place wrong time?

So much behind the scenes action that you won't want to put this one down.
No pun intended!

Thank you to Hilary, the publisher, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.

Book Review: "A Life Of Their Own" By Pauline Tait

The most dangerous time in a domestic violence situation is upon leaving!

Kate wants out with her two children fleeing Adam and leaving everything she's ever known in NYC for Colorado.

Her past soon collides with her present as she finds her former college boyfriend & the feelings that she long since thought she buried.

Now she must make a choice and quick!

Once a woman flees it's often not the end!

The marriage was never dissolved nor was closure ever offered!

What she decides to do next is not A-Typical of what many in the same situation face.
It's a process that takes time to heal old wounds as the wounds are not merely physical.
Abuse is so much more than mere words.

I absolutely enjoyed this on many aspects especially in regards to the ending and using those wings to fly.

As a survivor of abuse I've never felt comfortable with the term 'victim' because you can always seek hope, healing, and love.

Love always wins over hate!

A-L-W-A-Y-S~!

Thank you to Pauline, the publisher, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.

Book Review: "The Nanny" By Gilly MacMillan

"The tension is simmering. The lies are piling up. Who do you trust?"

Bit by tiny bit we are introduced to scandalous characters that are riveting beyond words!

Welcome to the NutHouse hosted by non other than Virginia the mom who hired Hannah (nanny) to watch Jocelyn aka Jo back in the early 80's.

The Lake Hall summer location was the perfect backdrop to this dark and disturbing setting in which the nanny vanishes without a trace leaving Jo to blame her mother for her sudden departure.

Years later Jo returns after the death of her husband to unearth the truth bit by shiny bit.
However, when human remains are uncovered in a lake the story becomes battered by shocking new waves of blood-curdling action.

Several issues arrive literally on the doorstep when an unexpected visitor knocks on Jo's door.

This sets a chain reaction of literal intrigue upon the readers as one thing leads to another with the ultimate climactic ending.

The darkest impulses are explored. The intensity is uncanny. The suspense is killing me!
Sometimes the truth hurts more than the lie!

Yet we are led to believe that the lie is the truth all along!

Go figure!

You know that saying not everything is as it's cracked up to be?

Ok, well add that motto here but with a tangy twist as even those you thought you knew are nothing like they claim to be.

Lies, Deceit, Betrayal, Forgery and so much more....

ENJOY THIS GEM!

Book Review: "Beautiful On The Outside" By Adam Rippon

We all know its what's on the inside that counts!

Yet sometimes that mess on the outside is equally outstanding and worthy of the gold!

In this case both situations are true!

You'd be correct in saying Adam wasn't born with a silver spoon.

You'd also be correct in noting his mom was like many single moms struggling to survive.

Yet, the story graciously builds upon his humble roots in Scranton Pa to his glorious & albeit closely monitored life in California.

So many focused upon the highest prize -- Getting Gold! Yet for Adam it wasn't about the medal it was about the process of getting there that won the fans.

You see Adam is unique in the fact he had no prior experience in figure skating when he went to Montage Mountain here in Northeastern Pennsylvania ( a place I've called home my entire 46 yrs).

He moved up in the world when he found the Ice Box in Pittston which was like jumping from a box car to the Steamtown Train Excursion.

What he noted in his work was how difficult everything was along the way. From securing those glam and glitzy pieces for events to the housing costs to the event expenses and everything in between.

The coaches were an entirely different issue as finding a good fit is often not easy. The female coach from Russia was one such experience he'd probably rather forget.

However, life goes on and is in constant motion. Always turning on its axis. Much like Frank in doing things, "My Way" Adam was simply doing them," His way."

No, Frank Sinatra probably wasn't his cup of tea but in Adam you can find heart, compassion, empathy, and authenticity and that's what builds character and enforces tenacity.

I have shed more than a few tears when he spoke of his teen years and the transgression of becoming a young adult. That need to want to be on your own yet seeking boundaries from afar.

Oh, you know what I mean, for us single parents...When your child needs a vehicle, a job, a college and or career. The worries, the fear, the trepidations and mental anguish of wondering will my child fly away or fall flat on his or her face.

The struggle is real.

I'm so glad he opened up not solely about his sexual orientation but rather his life experiences.

Where does he go from here?

How does he build upon winning the Gold in 2018 at the Winter Olympics in Pyang Chang?

What does his family life and personal life look like now?

Well I would tell you this he's not one to cherry coat and I admire that trait!

Keeping it real he tells his audience, " I felt like I had wasted my life chasing a kingdom that doesn't even exist."

Yet he's one to admire and behold for it's not the glitz and glam but the person that truly is inspiring!

A hometown proud individual who is showing us all that hard work involves more than just getting it done.

Book Review: "Olive, Again" By Elizabeth Strout

Getting old sucks!

Nobody understands this better than our main gal Olive who has had a bumpy ride over the years.

She been widowed. She's been depressed. She's even been disgraced.

One thing is for sure she has plenty of individuals around her with equally challenging lives.

It's that compare and contrast that builds the foundation upon which she often finds herself.

What if you could put death on hold?

What if you could be all you've ever dreamed?

What if you don't see yourself quite like everyone else sees you?

The characters in this are quite interesting especially Jack Kennison.

I'd be reluctant if I didn't mention Jack and his humongous belly. But Jack is more than just plump as he holds a PhD but feels ignored. Perhaps that explains why he sought Elaine after 25 yr marriage. Perhaps that's the reason his relationship with his daughter Cassie isn't so perfect after all.

However, when he learns about his wife Betsy's actions during the marriage he has an epiphany. It seems what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

However could the timing make any difference in having an affair? Is it better to wait until your knee deep into marriage before introducing alternatives?

Life is one full circle.

I don't need to tell you this!

Yet Jack and Olive seem to connect on levels never before explored. So it's no surprise they become engaged and soon marry.

What is surprising is the fact that Jack has a gay daughter and Olive has medical issues that need her attention.

When the twists and turns are introduced we notice a change. A change both in the strength of the storyline, the characters, and ultimately the ending.

I was on board up till midway when Olive had this sudden situation and fell out of the story and we were sent packing for a time being.

As readers it's like the 'killing off' segment but then she emerges and we find a new sweetness with Isabelle.

Isabelle is her roommate in the nursing home who deeply misses her mom.
The reflections of the past, the jokes about 'Depends', the conversation about life and family is truly unique.

I suppose all we can now say is what Olive has noted," I do not have a clue who I have been. Truthfully, I do not understand a thing."

We often fly by the seat of our pants. We take a leap not fully aware of the reasons why but hoping it fulfills a destiny and longing from within each of us.

I absolutely adored the beginning and the end but the middle fell flat after Olive left.
To be loved by two men. To have family that may not be perfect but good enough. To have grandkids that see the light every now and then.

Life is fickle yet worth every minute of the wild ride!

Enjoy!

Book Review: "The 19th Christmas" By James Patterson

Ring the bells the season is almost upon us and everything is coming up roses....

Well not quite!

It's time to deck the halls and begin to celebrate the approaching New Year, but why would we have normalcy.
There's a problem with this "Loman" character and readers are led on a chase to find out why.

So, of course panic ensues, time frames linger from past to present, plot twist are ratcheted up and quite frankly everything goes haywire.

After all a deadly surprise being offered up on Christmas in San Fran isn't what anyone needs at the moment and certainly not the members of the Women's Murder Club.

Now if you follow my reviews you know I'm knowledgeable about narcissists and toxic individuals.

This book has that feel of the crazy train in the sense that smoke and mirrors are offered up with colleagues doing the dirty work for 'Team Logan' yet a disconnect happens within the plot.

Go figure! RIGHT?

After all who is "Loman" ?

Primary and secondary plots are woven tightly but with predictability.
Each distraction and smoke screen did nothing to add to the complexity of the villain.
Will the identity of Loman be revealed?

What about those 4 ladies of the club?

Claire had very little involvement having left for holidays to teach while Cindy and Yuki deal with complications to immigration issues. Lindsay has taken center stage with her escapades.

It's a typical JP novel with nothing out of the norm here for the fans.

Always quick and relevant to today's times but I'd love to have more thrills..

Book Review: The Rabbit Hunter By Lars Kepler

Alexandra & Alexander have done it again!! I'm super excited to tell you this is worth much more than five stars.

It all goes down with the brutal murder of the Foreign Minister while of course he was in the copy of the lady of the night.

Detective Joona Linna is tied up in prison after being charged for assaulting an officer on his last investigation.

However, we need Joona to stop this madness! STAT!

Political figures are in danger of dying and the only one that could help Joona is Saga (young detective.)

Every killer has an M.O. (modus operandi) but in this case the rabbit hole may be deeper than expected both literally and figuratively.

There's so much going on behind the scenes with brutal crimes of passion and vengeance all rolled into one.

My pop used to say boys will be boys but darn it they surely grow up at some point . Or so we can only hope.

This is a killing spree unlike anything you're ever read! TRUST ME!
The twists in this are so outrageous that you best better hold on tight and don't let go till the end!

Ps. Good luck getting this book out of your memory bank. The plot scenes are superb! Action packed suspense! Thrilling characters!

PERFECTION!!!!

Book Review: "The Other People" By CJ Tudor

Holy smokes what the heck did I just read?

My word, give me a second to seriously compose myself....

This is one heck of a paranormal, psychological, fictional work that will mess you up and gently place you back down novel!

You go into this with a blank slate thinking poor Gabe lost his daughter Izzy but folks don't jump so quick as we have so much more to offer in this heart pounding sizzler by the great CJ Tudor.

First I recommend getting comfy. Don't go by any windows or bathrooms. Check your back and surroundings as darkness is the worst. Seriously don't go buy the road.

We have a chilling prologue here with plenty of spook~tacular magic and splendid detail.

A perfect set up to the twist and turns that soon follow as this amazing new read starts off in superb fashion with this explosive revelation:

"He was just considering changing lanes when the girl's face appeared in the rear window, perfectly framed by the peeling stickers. She looked to be around five or six. Round-faced, pink-cheeked. Fine blonde hair pulled into two high pigtails.
His first thought was that she should be strapped into a car seat.
His second thought was IZZY."

Ok, now hold on because it's nothing like what you might think.

Seriously we have plenty of characters to entertain your thoughts including 3 central figures.

First up to the plate is our main guy, Gabe, who is seriously in need of some love after learning his daughter and wife were both murdered years prior yet refuses to believe they are both dead.

Fran is one heck of a lively vision whose on the run with a child. Lastly but not least, Kate who seems innocent enough as a waitress at a local service station that Gabe often visits.

Now it seems all good right? No no spoilers here! But hold on...

This will have you locked in and ready with the hair standing on edge so be prepared as this is one wild ride for thriller fans everywhere.

It has a paranormal, dark, dangerously spooky feel as we transverse in and out of the settings with ease. This has past and present narratives so stay focused because it's this mind blowing suspense that will leave you shaking in your boots or socks as was my case.

I know CJ doesn't like to brag but this one was worth the wait....it's so captivating, so inviting, so commanding your attention on every level that you won't put it down.

It was ironic how I was introduced to this gem. The publicist reminded me of it's urgent availability on NetGalley. Yes, URGENT! I RAN over and REQUESTED a copy even though I had over 57 other books on my TBR pile (enter procrastinator here.) You don't simply read a CJ Tudor book. Hell NO! You make the darn time and clear your darn schedule! NO EXCUSES!!

With my crazy world I needed some reprieve having just returned from an interview for a 'content editor' with major marketing company. So pray for me please so I can leave poverty behind. Thanks!

I digress..

I was seeking an outlet with a truly compelling read and boy did I find it with,"The Other People."

I can't explain in eloquent words just how riveting and jaw dropping this was and that's saying plenty from a gal whose never at a loss for words.

This was pure perfection that left me scratching my head thinking how on Earth was I blown away in a car waiting for my son to exit out of college for his night classes without every moving from that spot.

It was a gem to read and a diamond in the rough to review!
Thank you to CJ Tudor for blessing me with this beauty, the publicist, the publisher, and everyone who had me put everything else aside and get lost in this fictional piece.

Wow!!! What a ride!!
