Book Review: "We Are All Good People Here" By Susan Rebecca White

We are all beautifully flawed yet even the broken pieces can still color.

This was certainly colorful in every facet of the literary word and meaning as we embark on this journey of two unlikely women pairing up in college.

What's quite the treat is the time period in the early 60's at a time of great upheaval and turmoil in our nation's history.

Both politics and public opinion way in on both these women's conscious & the book is by no means judging but is exploring all sides of the equations.

A lifelong friendship is ultimately being tested in every way imaginable across the ages from the 60's till the Bill Clinton Era and beyond. A time of great confusion, chaos, and looking back a time of great reflection for the choices one made during this time period.

So with this said it's worth noting that these women are relatable but may not be well liked as is the case with the terminology evidenced here: “Oh, I’m so excited to meet you! I don’t mean to be such a *spaz*, but I’ve been looking forward to this moment all summer!"

I do love this quote in ending it all for the readers: “Change would not happen without women who held power in the workforce."

I hope you enjoy and engage in this as the author intended it to be.
