Book Review: "When I Close My Eyes" By Elizabeth Musser

Josephine has a story to tell but it may never be told about the Awful Year.

She's in a coma after being shot and it appears it was a suicide or is it?

Perhaps there's more to this story and it's truly unbelievably scary as depression and mental illness is in the headlines.

Henry Hughes the man who shot her has been arrested but he too has his own story to tell.
As fan letters show a different side and a disturbing past her daughter Paige is now scrambling for answers along with detectives.

Could those letters hold the clues?

It's a powerful story and a reminder to seek help if feeling depressed especially for those suffering from mental illness as it's never too late to reach out.

Thank you to Elizabeth, the publisher, NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
