Book Review: "The Nanny" By Gilly MacMillan

"The tension is simmering. The lies are piling up. Who do you trust?"

Bit by tiny bit we are introduced to scandalous characters that are riveting beyond words!

Welcome to the NutHouse hosted by non other than Virginia the mom who hired Hannah (nanny) to watch Jocelyn aka Jo back in the early 80's.

The Lake Hall summer location was the perfect backdrop to this dark and disturbing setting in which the nanny vanishes without a trace leaving Jo to blame her mother for her sudden departure.

Years later Jo returns after the death of her husband to unearth the truth bit by shiny bit.
However, when human remains are uncovered in a lake the story becomes battered by shocking new waves of blood-curdling action.

Several issues arrive literally on the doorstep when an unexpected visitor knocks on Jo's door.

This sets a chain reaction of literal intrigue upon the readers as one thing leads to another with the ultimate climactic ending.

The darkest impulses are explored. The intensity is uncanny. The suspense is killing me!
Sometimes the truth hurts more than the lie!

Yet we are led to believe that the lie is the truth all along!

Go figure!

You know that saying not everything is as it's cracked up to be?

Ok, well add that motto here but with a tangy twist as even those you thought you knew are nothing like they claim to be.

Lies, Deceit, Betrayal, Forgery and so much more....

ENJOY THIS GEM!
