Book Review: "The Good Neighbor" By Cathryn Grant

Quick make the 5 star rating a 10 stat!!

This is one hell of a thriller and a must read !!

The story revolves in every mannerism around 14 yo Brittany Cashing whose parents noticed her missing from her bedroom.

A search party is formed along with an online page created with exclusive intent on finding and bringing her home alive.

Moira and Alan her parents do all they can to connect the dots and uncover the truths.
This includes allowing neighbor Taylor to help them online in examining each and every like and comment to their missing daughter.

As it turns out there's one comment that captures everyone's attention including her parents. Along with a threat to in essence shut down the page.

Who would threaten such a thing in finding a missing young girl?

As a victim of abuse I know many women and men leave for various reasons and go into hiding so I wonder could this be the case here?

As the story progresses we learn that everything is not as it seems including the basics.
Right from the start something was off with Brittany and it wasn't the mere fact that she was homeschooled and had very little outside interactions.

Perhaps something is going on behind closed doors and something that involves more than just this family.

I won't say too much but suffice to say sometimes people try to hamper one's progression and this story truly takes that to a whole new level in more ways than one.

The twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat the entire time.

This was a beautifully written and perfectly paced novel.

Thank you to Cathryn, the publisher, Netgalley for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
