Everyone seems to talk in their reviews about the 'charm' factor but for me it wasn't the charm but the 'emotional' factor that worked wonders for the soul.
While Henry is older he is also wiser and young in age. He has had a past love that resulted in an emotional pull for the past 65 yrs upon this elderly man.
One can only wonder if he'll ever regain and renew his life but in the meantime we explore a different and unlikely friendship with Ariel who is on her own voyage for her own reasons.
The two board a train for Edinburgh for different reasons that are worlds apart yet strangely enough collide to form magical moments.
I love how the author Celia has brought these two together with heartache and grief being the connector piece of this puzzle.
It was a feel good moment till the end yet we learn that perhaps 'The Dance' by Garth Brooks is a good one to have playing while reading this gem.
"Because he'd learned by now that some moments in life are pivotal. And when they happen, you know things are never going to be the same again."
Yet through all the emotional tugs and pulls we learn to love again and perhaps Linus will too....
The heart has been mended in all its broken places!
