Book Review: "Good Neighbors" By Sarah Langan

Welcome to Long Island!

This is the newest novel from Sarah Langan provided courtesy of Atria Books to review.

I'm thrilled they sent me this ARC because as many of you know- 2020 has been anything but Kind- as we travel unchartered territories in more ways than one.

This book seemed to open up that avenue (no pun intended) in explaining all the craziness in one setting on Maple Street with one main group - The Wilder Family.

But you know it won't stop there as just like 2020 things happen -like a sinkhole- that ultimately becomes the catalyst for something far greater.

Arlo may be a rock star in his own right but he's now a wash up -has been- fella with a record far greater than fame could've ever provided. He's known for more than making music -so keep your eyes out for this one along with his wife- ex pageant queen Gertie.

Their next door neighbor -Queen Bea- Rhea is also one to watch as she's a lonely college professor whose repressing past emotions.

It all comes to a head when Rhea's daughter Shelly falls inside the sinkhole and explanations as to where she is and whether she's alive or dead travels like the winding river throughout the scenery.

It's one heck of a wild ride.

Thank you to Atria, Sarah Langan, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle and all those who played a role in getting me this early copy.
