Book Review: "What Can I Do" By Jane Fonda

"This is the last possible moment in history when changing course can mean saving lives and species on an unimaginable scale. It's too late for moderation."

Jane Fonda is known more these days as an activist than an actress, author, fitness guru, and feminist motivator for those of us who agree with her powerful voice.

I absolutely enjoyed this new read in showcasing not only the need for the change but the diverse groups, the economical factors, the educational backgrounds, and the racial lines that were erased in order to come together as one-These UNITED States.

We cannot continue hating when our country is under attack by the very individuals sworn upon the bible to protect it.

The greed, the lack of transparency, the tax incentives, the lobbyists must be stopped.
We are a nation for all not the top 1% as we struggle to simply earn a living.

Upon reading this one thing struck me & that's the fact that targeting, racial profiling, segregation, racial gerrymandering, women's rights, environmental and climate changes, and more are top priorities that must be expressed in peaceful protest as well as through our courts in the form of legislation.

We cannot continue down the broken path and think we'll get to a different location. Women should not be viewed as 'classless' but 'classy.'

We can do this but we have to join together for the common good.

I hope this is the start of the new wake up call to action.

Thank you for this ARC via Goodreads Giveaway in exchange for this honest review.
