Book Review: "The Peculiar Fate of Holly Banks" By Julie Valerie

Can fate bring achievements to fruition?

Is life simply a matter of achievements, perfection, and label titles or will there be more?
What if life doesn't go as planned?

Imagine Holly Banks- a mother, wife, and aspiring film maker trying to make it in her village of Primm.

Her spouse seems cold and distant, her dog is out there digging up artifacts attracting media hype, and well her perfect live has been nothing more than a chock full o nuts!

I really wanted to like it all and dig right in but sadly I felt like an outsider wondering at times wth was going on and why.

Who lands a plane in the yard? Why can't this woman get her life going?

Why the dog without any assistance from anyone?

All in all it was just too odd for me to enjoy even after reading the first of this Village of Primm series.

Thank you to Julie Valerie, the pub, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
