Book Review: "The Push" By Claire McGowan

If you're looking for a thriller of mass proportion with a multitude of angles than this is your one stop shop for happiness.

The Push is unique in that it involves the premise of parents of newborns all coming together in a baby group of sorts until one member falls off a balcony and all hell breaks loose.

Everyone seems to have something to hide and all eyes lead to DS Alison who herself has had difficulty with infertility.

Oh and then there's this, "Wealthy Ed and Monica show off their newborn while their teenage daughter is kept under virtual house arrest. Hazel and Cathy conceived their longed-for baby via an anonymous sperm donor—or so Hazel thinks. Anita and Jeremy planned to adopt from America, but there’s no sign of the child. Kelly, whose violent boyfriend disrupted previous group sessions, came to the party even though she lost her baby. And then there’s Jax, who’s been experiencing strange incidents for months—almost like someone’s out to get her. Is it just a difficult pregnancy? Or could it be payback for something she did in the past? It’s a nightmare of a case, and as events get even darker it begins to look impossible."

Which leads to several avenues to explore and possibilities of modus operandi hanging in the balance.

It's all about DNA, genetics, and parenting skills and when those three come together it's dynamite!

WOW!

Thank you to Claire, the pub, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
