The Holocaust is one of the most important times in American History.
It's also the hardest to relate too because I cannot fathom mentally, physically, emotionally what these individuals endured during their times in captivity.
In this case we have The Magnificent Dappled Sea written by David Biro which develops a two -fold story between a young boy in need of medical attention (bone marrow transplant) and a Rabbi.
The premise sounded quite intriguing and captured the essence of what I seek to find in this genre but unfortunately the way it was written in bouncing between thoughts and timelines in addition to the relationships that existed or didn't between characters in providing closure was missing.
I'm hoping others may enjoy this a bit more.
Thank you to David Biro for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
