Book Review: "Assassin's Strike" By Ward Larsen

Assassin's Strike literally covered every base with heart pounding cinematic action, suspenseful and active narration, wonderful storytelling, and characters that are aggressive yet powerful.

What could be better than reading this new work on of all days America's Birthday?!

I was blessed to receive an early copy courtesy of NetGalley and was offered another quick shot with BTS Designs which I declined as my request for approval came in at the exact moment I was to accept James offer for hard cover copy.

This new work starts off with a steady yet triumphant pace which lays the groundwork for what's to come.

This is the 7th of the David Slaton series which showcases how hard David must work to protect his family at all costs in exchange for taking CIA contracts.

Normally his mission is to take out high profile and extremely dangerous targets but this is a twist-he's there to save his target.

As we progress we learn that the job is heavily based on protecting the interpreters for a Russian president who has information about a biological attack. Could the Russians be working with a third party?
Why are the Iranians testing nerve agents on Sudan's people?

Tensions are running full steam ahead as the energy shifts towards these interpreters and uncovering what's behind this information in order to remove the interpreters from enemy territory.

The setting is in and around the streets of Sudan and Syria with vivid portrayals of both locations.

Inner conflict, espionage, highly explosive action,  extreme mystery& suspense with new evolving technological advances that showcase the tactical side of this action made my hair tingle.

I literally felt like I was on the war path being a part of the action, hiding behind walls, running across deserts, sifting through every piece of intelligence that came through all while the action continued to ramp up in full mode all around me. It was brilliant to be a part of it all.

Thank you to Ward, the pub, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
