Book Review: "The Day She Came Back" By Amanda Prowse

The power of forgiveness...

As a fan of Amanda's I must say this was off the beaten path in testing love in an unusual way that caught my attention and interest as a thriller reader.

In this case we have our main character who recently lost her grandmother Prim. Victoria idolized Prim and was deeply troubled by her passing.

Readers are taken on this family dynamic that plays out between the parents (Sarah/Marcus) as well as between Victoria (their daughter).

In case you're wondering -Victoria was told that her mother died - so who was this mysterious woman at Prim's funeral?

The resemblance was uncanny ...the deeper Victoria searched...the more answers were uncovered to the point the truth came flowing in like a river running wild.

This was quite powerful and emotionally driven with so many human elements in play between the characters.

That sense of family, belonging, yearning for the truth about your familial history, and the secrets some will go to protect at all cost.

In the end, Sarah seems to have worked it out but not before much pain and loss...

Here's to new horizons...

Thank you to Amanda, the pub, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
