Book Review: "Donald Trump and His Assault on Truth" By The Washington Post

As a survivor of a malignant narcissist I can tell you so much on this topic that I myself can write a book just on this toxic personality trait disorder alone.

Now, based on the Goldwater Rule most professionals in the field cannot diagnose from afar but safe to see we can talk in layman terms.

As a general rule these individuals are chronic liars, gaslighters, manipulators, and prey upon the weak and insecure who have low self esteems.

They are cold, cunning, demeaning, degrading, egotistical and feel they are far superior and intellectual than anyone else around.
They demand loyalty, prestige, attention, adulation, praise, and constant pedestal placement with the spotlight or 'campaign light' always turned on.

They are also dangerous, threatening, intimidating, bullying, and will leave in a heartbeat without a second glance as everyone is disposable when no longer in use or needed as a source of supply.

If you follow their trail of destruction you will see a constant pattern that plays out and is set on rinse, wash, repeat.

The cycle is exhaustive, it's a game of cat and mouse, it's a Jekyll and Hyde con artist and snake oil salesman all wrapped up into one being.

These toxic individuals operate from a false sense of self and will mirror , project, and take credit from others when things are going well. When not so well they will hide, blame, shame, and cower into a corner like a two year old with a terrible tempter tantrum.

Mood swings, walking upon eggshells, fight or flight moments, and down right false accusations with constant delays if in court room settings or non appearances even with warrants issued is what you can become accustom too.

It's a mission that will find you in smoke, fog, and mirrors and that explains why they are found in top positions as leaders of countries, churches, businesses, and the like.

They appear credible, believable, sociable to a point but will turn on a dime as they are always seeking to win at all COSTS.

Other peoples lives as we now see with Corona are not nearly as important or valuable as a malignant narcissist and this sadly is why many will tell you the selfish nature is not only annoying but deadly.
I've written plenty on this topic already but I can tell you that the lies, the falsities, the blame and shame, the constant hollering, anger, madness is the new norm as long as those with this personality trait are in office.

I pray the country can once again unite, love, and rid the hate as we are one. Vote!!

Fact checks will continue but unless people are willing to listen the leader of this run away train will continue on. Without checks and balances, without retribution, without transparency -there can be no justice. Our Constitution was set forth for all of us to abide by its laws and nobody is ever above such laws. This is not nor ever will be my new norm and I hope you agree.

Thank you to The Washington Post for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
