Short stories always seem to leave you wanting something more. In this case I just couldn't fall into the sequence with the stories as they didn't really relate in any sense to current state or mood.With this said the writing was good but it didn't move me to fall in love with nor relate to the characters in the stories, the plot, or even the settings.
Sadly, I'm going to have to be in the minority on this one but would look forward to something more suitable to my taste by Sara Paretsky.
