Book Review: "Summer at Firefly Beach" By Jenny Hale

In these troubling times with a major pandemic upon us both in the states and abroad it's refreshing to pick up a 'beach read' and enjoy being taken away to another location.
This is perfect for chick lit readers and those who simply want to relax with lively characters, strong plots, and perfect settings.

Summer at Firefly Beach begins with the loss of the beloved Aunt Clara which leaves Hallie to nurse her wounds alongside her uncle and best friend Ben at their favorite place.
The grief is unimaginable and can be felt throughout the pages. The love in this family was dynamic.

The bucket list that Hallie received in exchange for her inheritance was a unique idea and I enjoyed seeing where Jenny would take it all.

Of course, with a bucket list comes challenges some of which readers aren't sure she can complete. The list also brings out courage to face her own personal secrets that she's kept hidden.

In addition her relationship with Ben will be challenged when a new relationship forms with a local painter named Gavin.

The challenges, the truths, the companionship, the love-oh it's all great.

Thank you to Jenny, the pub, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review
