Book Review: His and Hers By Alice Feeney

Revenge they say is sweet but that depends on whose side of the story you choose to believe!

Explosive! Volatile! Shocking!

If you've never read a book by Alice Feeney you must grab this one and start with His and Hers because you will be totally taken away by her smoke screens, projections, and manipulative ways that are inherent in her darkest and creepiest of characters.
Rarely do I write reviews the same day I've read them unless they move me to literally take pen to pad and journal every fine tooth detail.

In this case I felt like this was a cat and mouse with a good game of CLUE on the table as not for fun but rather to challenge the mental capacities of the mind.

When you pick this one up it'll seem innocent and meaty as we're slowly introduced to the two main characters Anna Andrews ( newsreader ) and Detective Jack Harper whose suspicious of Anna's involvement in a recent woman's murder case. Ironically he becomes the suspect in his own murder investigation.

It turns out they both have a rather mysterious and somewhat delusional and demented past with all due respect to all parties involved.

Anna had an alcoholic mother and a hostile abusive father while Jack seemed a bit odd especially in his demeanor and investigative actions.

When Rachel enters the picture we learn as readers that she's been friends with Anna for the past 15 years who claimed she was divorced.

Now, after one body turns up it seems to set this ball and chain in motion because there appears to be a stalker, a killer, or a mad person out there with an ax to grind.

You'll find yourself being swept away with possibilities, with more questions than answers, with clues that continue to pile up piece by shiny 'red' piece.

Could the killer be Jack, could it be Rachel, could it be....(add any name here)?
There's something going on deep in the heart of St. Hillary's Grammar School but what and why after all these years later...

So much sweet revenge, jealousy, and plotting that it literally will put you (the reader) in the hot seat of passion, sweet love, and that horrible mix of redemption.

It's human nature to protect the one's we love and cherish but how far will one take that challenge to protect and serve?

Alice- I'm all but certain that I had this figured out and each time I swore I had it conclusively drawn up -you changed the name of the game.

So many deaths -so little time- so many wrongs- to make it all JUST RIGHT!
OMG! Blown away!

Thank you to Alice Feeney, the publisher, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
