Book Review: "Still Here" By Amy Stuart

Learning to trust again takes time, patience, and plenty of love...

PI Clare O'Day is on a hunt for two missing persons.

Malcolm and his wife Zoe Hayes are both gone.

Jack Westman a 62 yo was killed at his wife's birthday party at a local restaurant.

His wife Colleen Westman died a year later.

Zoe was involved with a video and her father was actively involved in what's known as the 'Perfect Crime.'

Sex, drugs, and rock and roll was always a popular thing in my day but even moreso here in this new novel albeit rock & roll took on a slightly different frame of mind.

Self defense is often a criminal excuse used to get off with the death of another person.

Could this be the case here?

We all know that most people truly believe in 'inherent goodness' of others.
Could gaslighting be used as an effective tool to persuade?

Ps. Kavita Spence was quite elusive so keep your eye on her as you she may just open up and share her story.

The whole idea of bringing someone into this world is a huge undertaking that may have been undermined by taking others out...

Thank you to Amy, the pub, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
