Book Review: "Dear Child" By Romy Hausmann

This is one of those books that is purely captivating and heart wrenching from start to finish as it's told from multiple points of view.

It begins with Lena Beck our main gal who went missing and believed to be abducted by her ex boyfriend and father of her two kids.

As noted in the premise 'a woman' escapes her captor claiming to be Lena with the distinctive scar but is she truly who she claims to be?

As noted the end of the story is just the beginning of this nightmare especially for her family and friends who desperately wanted Lena back.

The situation turns bizarre when a woman matching Lena's description turns up at the most unlikely of places with someone else.

Hannah then appears on scene with her brother Joseph while Matthias Lena's dad is frantically losing his marbles searching all over town.

What is a bit of wonderment is where is Lena, is she still alive, could she have been able to get away unharmed, or did something horrible happen to her especially if she's trying to escape....

So many unanswered questions for readers to explore leading to the ultimate showdown in the end that was a shocker of mass proportion.

What about this 'Frau Grass' we keep hearing about in this story...how does this person connect to the above information?

A case that will captivate all senses leaving you up pondering thoughts long after the last sentence is read.

Thank you to Romy, the pub, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
