Book Review: "The Forgotten" By David Bell

Jason starts us off wondering about his past and his relationships especially with regard to the mysterious death of Logan.

Jason had a romantic interest back then which makes us wonder as we glance ahead 25 yrs later with Regan.

Jason's sis Hayden was involved in a not so wonderful life full of drugs and violence so it's not that huge a surprise when she goes missing after becoming sober.

However, the story goes off in a new direction when she drops off her teen daughter for 2 days while she's away on business only to never return.

Derrick meanwhile shows up on the radar as a possible love interest of Hayden's but not many clues are left for readers to bounce off of until...

The issue with Logan, a set of stairs, and some long ago hidden agendas.

It's all about salvation in some ways and not disturbing the peace in others.

What more can one say as it's not Mr. Bell's finest hour but it was good.

My library sadly doesn't carry his new works but I did manage to find two out of the vaults to read this being one of two. The latter being The Hiding Place so do stay tuned for that review.
