Book Review: "The Twin" By Natasha Preston

This read was so good I didn't even notice it was young adult till I glanced over a few reviews prior to conducting my own review.

That's when you really know just how well into a book you are when you lose all sense of sensibilities.

No, seriously this was that good with that good v evil scenario between twin sisters.

Now as girls they fight over everything but when the mom fell off a bridge all hell broke loose because one twin was separated and became more like daddy's little girl who could do no wrong - otherwise known as 'golden child.'

The other twin felt left out and unloved and fought for equal attention.

Ivy and Iris are as crazy as ever because it appears Iris is getting increasingly adamant about moving in on her sisters boundaries in every way.

There's no stopping this woman who seeks recognition in the worst way.

Iris truly tried to do it all until one day Ivy confronted her in front of her own father and it didn't go well.

You could say it became downright knockdown dirty.

In the end the result was a blame and shame scenario with a wicked twist which worked well to anchor it all together and end with a bang!

A great read for the new year.
